I was born in upstate New York where I attended elementary school, moved to New Mexico for middle school and then finished up high school in Massachusetts. After receiving my B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, MA I travelled through Europe spending all of the money I had saved for graduate school. Nonetheless, I returned to the States and moved to New York City where I received my Master of Education from NYU. I have been an educator in Brooklyn for the past 12 years and opening a school has always been a dream of mine.
I have two cats, Horace and Elliot (Horace is pictured) and I'm expecting my first child in November.
