Welcome Back to the 2010-2011 School Year
We are excited to start our 5th year of the UA Institute with you and your families! We warmly welcome all back to school and hope that your summers were relaxing and enriching.
This year, the first day of school is Wednesday, September 8th. However, we immediately have two school holidays (Rosh Hashanah) on Thursday and Friday, September 9th & 10th. Therefore, we will have a special orientation day schedule from 8:30-11:30AM on Wednesday, September 8th.
Regularly scheduled classes will begin for students on
Monday, September 13th at 8:10AM.
Please help us start the year off strong by preparing our students for the school year. You'll find the General Supplies list on our website. This will be the supplies list used by our teachers this year. Additionally, students will be expected to have appropriate attire for their physical education classes. Our 6th & 7th graders will need to pay a $15 uniform fee if they need a new gym uniform. If you still have last year's uniform, that will be fine! Our 8th, 9th, and 10th graders will be taking dance and will require specific dance attire. Students will get specific information about attire on the first day of dance class.
We look forward to having successful and productive year with each of our students and their families! The school will be closed for cleaning and preparations during the week of August 23rd.
